Then, on her birthday, also the same day of Halloween, she came home to find that her strange and different parents were gone. They had left a note for her when she came back from school. The handwriting was very unlike her mom's precise handwriting. It mentioned ''Whatever you do, do not let any rakkhosh into the house. It also mentioned that a magical spell protected them all has been broken, and to trust the princes. Kiran couldn't believe her parents would forget her on her special day.. and where did they go, anyway? But they left her cookies for the trick-or-treaters, "nut and gluten-free, lactose-free milk obtained humanely from free-range cows." Classic. Then, the trick-or-treaters come. Her second guests surprised her. They were actual princes. Soon enough after the confusion, the rakkhosh come into her house from the back. It turns out these princes know where her parents are and are willing to help her save them. Will Kiran trust them and help to get her parents back? This book is amazing, and it reminds me of the Percy Jackson series. I rate this book 5/5 and recommend it to action readers, Percy Jackson readers, and mythical fiction readers. I think the author really put effort into this book, and the introduction got me hooked. I think that ages 9 and up would love this book.

    I just got the lockwood series in the mail from DOGO... It was so strange because I had entirely forgot that I had won them, and my mom brought them in and was like 'What did you get from DOGObooks? It's heavy.'..... And I picked it up... It weighed a LOT (very surprising.. they're just books) and I screamed when I opened the package.. Hehe... I can't wait to start reading ;)

    I would love to win this book because I entered the last giveaway and I sadly didn't win.. I was looking forward to it and my parents wont spend any more money on books for me because they bought me the Harry Potter series last year.. Thank you!

    Yess <3 I have a 3-week break, and it ends on January 3rd... Omg :D It's more like 2 weeks now, but it's ok. Also, I'm asking for an iPad, or these 3 books I really want. Either one would be fine, or both lol. Hope you all have great holidays, and get what you want for Christmas :)
