I like books that are exciting also. Even though happypug12 said that it isn't quite a rip-roaring tale, I think I'll try it out! Thanks!

corinnethellamaliked a comment in Greenglass House.
Greenglass house starts rather interestingly, with Milo, a kid who DOES NOT like anything to change. He expects to have a perfectly cozy and wonderful week off from school. Until the first guest arrives. Then another. And another. He would have gone crazy if not for Meddy, the cook's daughter. Not long after meeting her, things start to go missing. The book was nice, but if you're looking for a thriller, this book is not the place to look. It was pleasant, but usually in a mystery I'm looking for something that will send a shiver up my spine. It was interesting enough to keep me turning the pages, especially near the end, but I think Kate could have added a little more spice. And it was slow paced. Three stars.

corinnethellama's book review was featured in Watership Down.
Watership Down is a sweet tale about finding courage and looking for a place to call home. It's about multiple rabbits who have fled their doomed home to find a new one. It is lively and I suggest it to people who have a liking of rabbits and adventure stories. I suggest this book to grades 5 and up and ages 11 and up due to some extremely mild content and difficulty understanding language.

The Martian Chronicles is a book about when "Earth Men" come to Mars for the first time. There are many different short stories within this book. It is not the most lively of stories in my opinion, but it may interest those who have a liking for science fiction. I suggest this book to people ages 12 and up due to some confusing language. Grades 6th and up also.

corinnethellama's book review was featured in The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, Book 1).
The Lost Hero By: Rick Riordan Published: October 12, 2010 This book is about three young half-bloods going on an incredible journey to stop a crazy woman made of dirt from waking up. Piper has a secret. She is a daughter of Aphrodite, but she doesn’t agree with anything that Aphrodite does. Jason is confused. He woke up on a bus with no memory at all. Leo is good with tools being a son of Hephaestus and all. I liked this book a lot because of all the twists and turns in the plot. You never know what’s going to happen! I would suggest this book for 4th graders and up. Anyone could enjoy reading this amazing book! - corinnethellama
