I love this book! I had recently read this and it was really good. Catrina and her family move to the coast of Northern California due to her little sister, Maya. Maya has Cystic Fibrosis. It affects breathing and digestion. Cat thinks that they're moving mainly for Maya since she won't be having fast food in California. When they finally arrive at their new home, Maya really enjoys it, but not Cat. She misses her friends and wants to go back. When the lights suddenly go out, Cat takes Maya for a walk. Maya finds a small passageway that leads to a scary forest. They end up on a high rooftop by the ocean. They keep searching around and find other amazing things. One day, Cat and Maya go on a ghost hunt and finds many of them. They seem to haunt Cat and Maya. They circle around Maya because she is holding their favorite drink. But when she accidentally drops it, the ghosts hurt Maya. Cat quickly brings Maya back home but she as to be connected to a breathing tank now. THouhgout the book, many exciting things happen, but there are still sad times, like this one. I would recommend this book to people who liked all of the books that Raina Telgemeier wrote as well as graphic novels.

I read this book in fourth grade and fifth grade and many times more. I personally love this book. It shows how brave Auggie is. Just because his face is not normal, it doesn't that he is any different from other kids. In the book, Auggie has to deal with being a new kid at school and looking different than others. He also had to deal with bullying and sad moments. I like how one day at school, August finally finds a friend, Summer. Even though Summer is popular, she helps Auggie out and doesn't make fun of him. Her friends are all calling both Auggie and herself a freak. The event was heartwarming. Throughout the book, you realize that the events have ups and downs which means that there are sad moments and happy moments for Auggie. After reading this book so many times, I did a little research. The author, R. J. Palacio actually saw a girl(or boy) that looked a lot like Auggie. She was with her children and they were making fun of her or him. I would recommend this book to people who like reading about bravery.

I actually read this book quite a while ago. I can sort of connect to it because I have an overbite, and people have been always telling me that I need braces, which is true, but it was embarrassing and I don't really want braces. I felt really bad for Raina when she fell. It was pretty intense and the event hooked me into the book and I couldn't stop reading it. I would recommend this book to people who love graphic novels and people who can relate to Raina. Overall, it was a great book and I really enjoyed it.

Jonas, an eleven-year-old boy who lives in a controlled society that takes place in the future. In his community, there is no suffering, hunger, war. Everything is controlled by "the Elders," right down to who you will marry, who you receive as children, and what you will be "assigned" to a job.

This was a wonderful and well-written book. Hugo Cabret, a young boy incredibly interested in mechanical structures, and fixing things, is the clock-keeper at a train station in Paris. He lives in the walls of the train station, and is known to steal things; he is a thief. His life changes, and things start to become a little bit more mysterious, when a young girl, a key, a journal, and a mechanical man come into his life. His undercover life may be revealed at last. Will this happen, or will Hugo be able to keep his life in its normal flow? Read this amazing book (with beautifully drawn pictures, and lots of them too!!) to find out! I personally loved it, and didn't want it to end when I read the last page. I recommend this to all readers!

I don't like the Magnus Chase books as much. The Asgard gods aren't as well known and the story line was hard to follow. It feels like Rick Riordan is stretching out his series/stories just to make more money. I don't recommend this book

I loved this book. It was funny and relatable since I went on a camping trip similar to Greg's. This story was fun to read. I recommend this book to people who like to laugh.

I loved this amazing graphic novel about a girl who had problems with her teeth after an accident. Her story through middle school and orthodontics was touching and fun to read. Great Book!
