I decided to read this book because I love anything with zombies in it. Also, I liked that this book had zombies that could interact and speak with humans. Most zombies in movies and books cannot. This book was a quick read for me since it always had me nervous and waiting to see what happens next, especially when Molly (the main human character) goes down into the sewers with the zombies. Their are zombies that like humans and many that don't! So, you will have to read the book to know if she makes it out alive!
I read this book because my aunt had it and recommended it to me. She loved it and we usually like the same books so I went with it. This book is about a dystopian society where there are no memories or freedom. If you want to have a child, you have to wait to be picked to get one. There is one man, the Giver, that holds all the memories and he has to pass them on as he is getting too old. I don't want to tell you anymore so you have to read it! This book is entertaining but also scary thinking that this could happen in real life!
I decided to read this book while I was at my Grandpa's lake house in Wisconsin because it was about survival in the wilderness and we do a lot of camping up there. I like books and shows about survival. This book really made me feel like I was there with Brian, stranded, and struggling to stay alive. The descriptions were so vivid and the book always kept my attention. I recommend you read this book to find out if Brian makes it home!
