Have you ever wanted to know what really happened in the Disney fairy tales? Because not every story has a happy ending ing the true story's. In Grimm's Fairy Tales by: The Grimm brothers they tell what actually happened. In Disneys version of Cinderella the shoe just didn't fit the step-sisters but in the true story the sisters actually cut of part of their heel and toes. Also there's the little red riding hood but it's also called little red-cap. In Disney they show the wolf eating little red and then being burped up but in the true story a lumber jack comes by and chops the wolf open. So the protagonist would be little red riding hood, grandma, and the lumberjack and the antagonist is the wolf. There's also the golden goose that keeps taking food from the King's garden. So the gardener sent one son off to find it and talked to a wolf and the wolf told the son directions of finding the goose but he doesn't listen and instead goes to a bar and drinks. The gardener next sends of his second son and he does the same thing. The gardener then sends off his third son and he talks to the wolf but he does what the wolf says and then when they get to the goose the wolf says, " The goose will be in a wood cage but there will be a golden cage underneath, don't put the goose in the golden cage or else he will scream and wake everyone in the village." So the son finds the goose and feels bad that he's golden and is in this ugly old cage. So he puts the goose in the golden cage Andre goose screams really loud and wakes all the guards and the guards bring the son to the king and the King says' " Bring me the golden horse in the valley and you can have the goose." So the fox and the son run to the valley and look for the horse and when they find the horse the fox says, "when you get the horse it will not have a saddle on it, but there will be a golden saddle next to it, do not put the saddle on or will will wake everyone in the valley." So the son finds the horse and he feels bad that the horse doesn't have his matching saddle so he puts it on the horse and the horse woke everyone with a loud nay. So when he goes back to the king with no horse he is planned for execution. So in that story the protagonist would be the fox and the antagonist would be the goose, and the three sons. This book is great to read if you like fairy tales and want to know what really happened in them, I really like this book and is a big recommend
