Gary W. Boone or Goon LOVES telling jokes! He wants to be a stand up comedian when he grows up, but no one likes his jokes except Angeline his best friend. News about a talent show has come and he would absolutely love to win, but what actually happens turns out to be totally different! I recommend this book and love it!

now this is my kind of book. ok this book is about a twelve year old boy named Gary Boone and he was born to be a comedian. The kids in his class think that he is a goon. Gary's dream would come true if he wins the school talent show, but on the bi night the dream totally backfires with really funny results. this is a paperback book. it has 224 pages i it. and the author is Louis Sachar.
