Dear john is a story about a girl named Savannah and a guy named John that fell in love over spring break. This story teaches people that love isn't easy and it takes sacrifice to make it last. I think the main thing that broke their relationship apart was that john has to go back for the US army and they didn’t have any connection, the only thing they could do was to send each other letters. John’s dad was a big part of the story because John used to be really close to him but they lost their connections because John’s dad was abscessed with coins and became a coin collector. Coins was John and his dad’s bond John used to be really interested in coins but as he became a teenager he just stopped liking coins and started wanting just to be cool. The ending of the story wasn’t how I thought it would be. I thought that they would start a life together and have a family and be really happy but it wasn’t like that. I think a lot of people would like this book if they like romantic and love stories.

Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. It is a love story that makes me feel very romantic. This book is the best love story that I've read before. When I'm reading this story, I felt that I'm inside the character of the story. This story let me know what is ''true love''. True love is that you really care about others and even you sacrificed yourself, you just want other to be happy. Before reading the ending, I somehow confusing about some parts but after I finished reading the ending, I know the feelings and I now understand it. I'm really surprised that John and Savannah didn't get married, I thought they would married and lovely forever, but the ending isn't like that. However, I really like to read Nicholas Sparks book, because its really romantic and you would fall in the story. I suggest people that like love story can read her books.

I enjoyed reading this book, especially the first part of the story, I fell immediately for the main character, John and Savannah, they were adorable together until the hardships in life set them apart. I got really emotional when I read the ending, they were not being together, after everything they had been through, they didn't deserve that. I really like a quotes that John said, "I finally understood what true love meant...love meant that you care for another person's happiness more than your own, no matter how painful the choices you face might be." This quotes make me realized that there are many different type of love, it may be painful, but it makes you learn more.
