The haunting tale of a family that moves into a new house and finds that someone -- or something -- does NOT want them there.
Olivia is curious about the people moving into 16 Olcott Place. The last family there moved out in the dead of night, and the new family, the Donahues, has no idea why. Olivia becomes fast friends with Janie Donahue . . . so she's there at the house when the first of the letters arrives:

--I am the Sentry of Glennon Heights. Long ago I claimed 16 Olcott Place as levy for my guardianship. The walls will not tolerate your trespass. The ceilings will bleed and the windows will shatter. If you do not cease your intrusion, the rooms will soon smell of corpses.--

Who is the Sentry? And why does the Sentry want the Donahues out of the house badly enough to kill? As Olivia and Janie explore the house, they find a number of sinister secrets . . . and as they explore their town, they find a hidden history that the Sentry wants to remain hidden forever.

You can lock the doors. You can close the windows. But you can't keep the Sentry out. . . .

Imagine moving to a new state in a new town with new people that you never met before. Then all of a sudden you start getting creepy letters from someone who calls themselves the Sentry. In Creep by Eireann Corrigan, the protagonist Olivia Danvers becomes friends with Jaine Donahue who just moved into Sixteen Olcott Place with her mom, dad and siblings. Most of the book takes place at Sixteen Olcott Place. The Donahues just moved into the neighborhood and started to get these creepy letters sent to their house from someone who called themselves the Sentry of Glennon Heights. Olivia becomes Jaine Donahue's best friend and tries to help the Donahues figure out who the Sentry of Glennon Heights is. A big aha moment is when Olivia and Janie go to Miss Abbot’s house. Miss Abbot invites them in and Janie ends up asking Miss Abbot if she has seen anyone taking an unusual interest in her home. Miss Abbot asks if she's talking about the Sentry. Olivia and Janie realize that Miss Abbot knows a lot more than they thought she did. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes trying to solve mysteries.

Creep is an intense, thrilling, and a makes-you-want-to-read-more horror book. It follows the life of an upcoming high school freshman, Olivia Danvers. When a family moves into the house next to hers, she is curious of who they are and hears that one of the family members is also an upcoming freshman. As she becomes friends with the girl, Janie Donahue, their house starts to get letter. These letters aren’t normal letters, but more like threats. They were written by the “Sentry.” No one knew why these letters were showing up, but they had to find out. After many encounters of these creepy stalker letters, will the Donahues find out who the Sentry is or will they live forever in Glennon Heights with a stalker? Read Creep to find out what happens. I would rate this book a 5/5 because it was interesting and thrilling and sends chills down your spine! This book was extremely entertaining!
