This book is about a boy who life was almost ruined because his brother was claimed an terrorist. After 9-11, some people performed hateful offences to totally innocent people that were from the middle-east. This could be considered one of them. This book made me realize what fear and hatred can do to totally innocent people, yet how powerful true brotherly love could be, when the brother of the "Claimed terrorist" proved that his brother was innocent and saved the country from more offences by the Al Queda. We don't seem to notice that Al Queda is an evil group from a certain area, and yes, they do bring a TON of suffering to America, but Middle-Eastern people that come to the U.S may be seeking refuge from them, and they probably suffered even more than we do because of them. America should be the model of acceptance and freedom, and I intend to treat everyone from every background with respect and love as an fellow American.

this book is very good if you enjoy action, conflict, and story. at the end of every chapter is a cliffhanger just making you want more and more. the main character's name is Kamran and before everything that happens he's just a normal teenager in high school but then he learns that his brother is a "terrorist" then everything goes from normal to horrible for him and his parents. you'll have to read the book to know what happens next but it's worth it.

Life is great for Kamran Smith. He's a jock, he's got a girlfriend, and he's an astounding football player. But tension arises when his brother Darius, an american soldier, is accused of being a terrorist when a video goes around. Kamran, however, knows that his brother is not the terrorist he is portrayed as, and vows to clear his name. In this novel, find out if Kamran will be able to prove his brother's innocence.

Do you want to read a truly amazing book? If so you should read Code of Honor by Alan Gratz. The setting takes place in Phoenix, Arizona. The protagonist is Kamran. The antagonist is kamran’s own brother Darius. His mother is from Iran but that doesn't help but prove him more to be a terrorist. One conflict is His family is going through the worst of anything they can think of their eldest son is accused of being a terrorist! Another conflict is an On camera Threats and attacks on the United States. The only way to save him and his brother are secret codes used as kids. The turning point is when Kamran a 17 year old boy uses the codes to solve it all. Is his brother really a terrorist. Darius Only went to military academies to learn national secrets. Kamran was taken away by homeland security. I loved this book because it is very unpredicted.
