I have read all the books, not this version. I loved them! I love love love love love love love love love love love these books!

I wonder how the illustrations look. I only have a printed word copy.

Anne, an orphan, who was sent to Avonlea by mistake to help Marilla and Mathew, who soon are her parents, is a bright girl with a remarkable imagination. On the other hand, Marilla and Mathew, who wanted a boy to help out on the farm, gets an ugly girl. This story follows Anne's life through school, adventures, and tragedy. I love this book so much, and look forward to reading the series.

best book series ever. i have loved anne for five years and will never let her go. this novel is better every time i reread it.

Anne of Green Gables is a lonely orphan with plenty of imagination and spunk who is mistakenly brought to Prince Edward Island as a farm hand. When Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert find out that Anne is a girl, a question arises; will she be allowed to stay in Avonlea?

I LOVE THIS BOOK the movie series is awesome too!

I think this is a very good book. It is a bit boring at first, just get into it, i think its great

Watched the movie, LOVED IT. It's like my favorite move EVER.
