I gave this book five stars because it had lots of good deatails in it. The adults in the book are really good at tricking kids into thinking they are the population police. The kids got caught by the fake population police to see if they would run away or not. The kids got out so the adults stopped pretending. I really liked the book.

I gave Among the Betrayed five stars because it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.I didn't know whether Nina was going to betray them or not.(kill or save) I loved how deeply described it was. I also loved how it was a test. Did Nina ever betray any one?
