This is my favorite book of all time! I read it in sixth grade when I was so into dogs and I had 4 of them. Bailey is my ideal golden retriever oh man this book was so good!

I was very nervous when i read it and it was great. it was basically 3 dogs combined in 1

this book is so much good

I think this was a really good book. But I would NOT recommend it if you aren’t ok with animals dying. But it is a VERY good book

I like what is happening now where i am I want to see what happens near the middle of the book and the end. So I like dog books and any type of book i sometimes see the cover and say i don't want to read it to myself. When i actually read part of it I get sucked in the story sort of and I want to read the rest. anyways I got of track. This book is great so far and I want to see what happens. If I said that already then sorry.

This has to be one, if not, my favorite book ever. I got it in my school's book fair. I read it in fifth grade and the other one in my 6-7th grade summer. It was amazing. I loved the way the author wrote it and cried on every death.

OMG this book was the best but it made me cry for like... sooo long

This book was touching and really great! One dog explores the world in three different lives as Bailey, Buddy, and Ellie. Bailey was a dog that belonged to hound Ethan. He thought that Ethan was such a kind owner, he wanted to protect Ethan and his family. His second life was Ellie, a dog at the K9 Police Station, with her owner, Jack. He was tough and kind of mean sometimes, but Ellie still loved him. The last life was Buddy. Buddy remembered his life was Bailey, and he smelled a familiar smell! Using his nose, he followed the scent and it led to Ethan’s barn! Excited, he goes into the house to greet Ethan. Ethan eventually finds out that Buddy is actually Bailey, and the two have a happy life together.

This book is about a dog have new lives over and over again. Then one day he stays and the owners notice he's trying to show that he is from the dog before that dog. My connection is that every summer I get puppies and I think about each time I get new ones and there live. I gave this 5 stars because, I really love reading about dogs and there lives.
