When Connecticut mechanic and foreman Hank Morgan is knocked unconscious, he wakes not to the familiar scenes of nineteenth-century America but to the bewildering sights and sounds of sixth-century Camelot. Although confused at first and quickly imprisoned, he soon realises that his knowledge of the future can transform his fate. Correctly predicting a solar eclipse from inside his prison cell, Morgan terrifies the people of England into releasing him and swiftly establishes himself as the most powerful magician in the land, stronger than Merlin and greatly admired by Arthur himself. But the Connecticut Yankee wishes for more than simply a place at the Round Table. Soon, he begins a far greater struggle: to bring American democratic ideals to Old England. Complex and fascinating, "A Connecticut Yankee" is a darkly comic consideration of the nature of human nature and society.

Have not read yet but will read soon

It is really a good book if you like to read. And if you like the Yankees. It was the best book in the history of books. And the 101 reasons to like the Yankees is the best because it is telling you that you should like the Yankees because they have won the most world series because they are the best team in the whole MLB and that's that.

This book is so captivating and thougt through!!! after being knocked unconscious by a man in his gun factory, Hank Morgan awakes in Camalot! after meeting King Arthur and the knights at the round table, Hank is sentenced to death. he manges to be release by explaining that he can create things and he introduces Camalot to newspaper and bicycles and guns. he is then thought of a better magician than Merlin! and soon war breaks out! really good and keeps you reading till late at night!

This was an okay book. In the beginning you get really bored, and you wish you could give up reading, but as soon as you reach the part when he starts doing his tricks you'll be really excited. In the end you end up wishing the book wasn't done.
