"I mean we had to go to the prom. It was his idea, completely."- pg 248, The Backup Date, by Leslie Margolis. Extraordinary exemplars of 21 different proms. All of the them have the same problem: They would rather go with their best friend's date. It turned out that there are 21 ways to solve it, and those 21 ways turned out to make one solution: love and respect yourself. Towards the end of each 21 small stories, all narrators understand that they should be confident, respectful to themselves, being able to love their own body, and understand clearly who they truly are. Even though this book is not one of my favorites, I am still so grateful to read it. I really enjoy how different yet similar the 21 small stories are. I felt like this book includes a collection of 21 adventures instead of 21 short stories all talking about each highschooler's prom. After reading this book, I also get to know each author's writing style. I only recommend this book to teenagers above 12, there are might be some contents that young kids might not understand.

21 Proms is very amazing book. This is a collection of several prom stories, each written by a different author. Each story has its own format, some is written in first person, some is in second while others are in third person perspective. There are diary entries and stories even written out as a skit! However, what they all have in common, is prom. Prom is the dream and highlight of senior year. Most people dream of having the perfect dress and date. Whether it's hanging out with friends or dancing with your date, everyone at prom is ready to have fun! This book brings out new perspective and sides of prom. There are some miracles and drama happening in each story. After reading this book, I start to look forward to prom. It doesn't matter if you look perfect or not, the point is having an unforgettable night. Enjoy the last year of high school! So whether you're looking for a chance to return to the memories of your prom, or trying to learn about how awesome prom is, come read 21 Proms!

21 Proms by 21 authors. Basically, there are 21 different section stories for different author. This book is really interesting! It let me know a lots of story or experience that happens in prom. And when I finished looking those story, I felt that I really want to go to prom!!! Prom is a great ways to communicate with friends and also you can meet new friend too. Those authors create a really awesome stories. My favorite part of the book is Prom for fat girls by Rachel Cohn, this story is interesting and funny. Because most of the boys don't like to dance with fatty girls. But for this story, it shows that even though you are fat, you can still dancing and you can still be yourself. The funny part is when they are dancing, there is something happens. This story is realistic.

So 21 Proms is a collection of short prom stories, all brought together into one book and NOW I CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR PROM. Yes, this book is that good - it captures all the ups and downs of prom, how a lot of characters go out of their ways to avoid the cliche things about prom. 21 authors collaborated together to create this wonderful piece of art and I recommend it to everyone. My favorite part of the book is when a guy convinces his date to be confident and dance on without caring about what anyone else will think of her, but my favorite story is still by John Green, called the American Morp, which is like a protest for how silly prom is. The characters are also relatable, because they each have their own strengths, weaknesses and insecurities. Hopeless romantics would really love this book <3
