It's a collaboration made in heaven or should we say Space - Buzz Aldrin, the second man to set foot on the moon has teamed up with Grammy Award winner Snoop Dog, to produce a single entitled "Rocket Experience".

The song, released with Aldrin's autobiography, "Magnificent Desolation: The Long Journey Home From the Moon", commemorates the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing, which occurred on July 20, 1969.

While the song and the books are great, the best part is the third portion of the release, a spoof video, entitled 'Making of Rocket Experience', which includes long-time friend Quincy Jones, Talib Kwell and Snoop Dog.

The former "moon-walker" who admits he is no Michael Jackson, says he got the concept for the song from a relative who felt that hip-hop would jive with younger generations. His goal for this song is to arouse a curiosity of Space, in kids. One third of the profits from the sale of the single will be donated to Aldrin's ShareSpace Foundation.

Snoop Dogg notes that he signed on to the project because he felt Aldrin "pushes kids to achieve their dreams." . Aldrin whose rapper name is Doc Rendezvous, said working with a great artist like Snoop Dog, was almost as formidable as going to Space.
