After Ben Warner is recruited to join a "science camp" led by the eccentric quantum physicist Dr. Madeleine Hughes, he quickly realizes it's no regular science camp. Along with his new friend, Peter, Ben discovers the secret, powerful art of Actuation -- the ability to change reality by simply imagining it differently.

When a mysterious group of men invade Dr. Hughes's laboratory, abducting her and stealing her precious equipment, Ben and Peter are suddenly caught up in a turf war between dangerous actuators desperate for Dr. Hughes's innovative technology. And as Ben and Peter are pulled into a perilous, hidden world full of impossibilities now made possible, will their combined powers be enough to save Dr. Hughes and vanquish their enemies before it's too late?

Incredible. Just incredible. This book is just so amazing. I couldn't put it down, which is unusual with me because I can usually put a book down. But not this one. This action packed thriller keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. I mean, this is the best book that I've read in a long time. So in the beginning, our story sees Ben Warner struggling with school, and living with his single mother in a tiny apartment. However, Ben is accepted into a special school, which he doesn't know much about. He enters this school, and soon discovers what it's all about. Actuating. Actuating is when people can control elements, such as fire, lightning, and water, just to name a few. Ben is really good at it, however, he must use the actuating circle to harness his abilities. While he's there, he becomes better friends with a kid from his other school who also attends this school, Peter. However, a group of evil thugs enter the school to steal their teacher's invention, so they take the invention and the teacher. However, they knock Ben and Peter out before they leave. When they woke up, they were in a white room that they had not seen before. They had been accepted into the Quantum League. That's all I'm gonna say for now because I don't want to spoil it for you. This book was incredible, and I'm so mad that they haven't came out with a sequel yet. I really hope they do soon, because this book deserves one!!

Action packed and full of many plot twists you won't see coming. Great for anyone who likes suspense and people with awesome abilities.

I love the book.

The Quantum League is a great book if you're looking for a great sci-fi book that doesn't go too over the top with anything. The only dislike I had about this book is that it was to short. Hopefully there is another book to make this a series because the ending leaves you at a bit of a cliffhanger.
