TBH #1: TBH, This Is So Awkward

TBH #1: TBH, This Is So Awkward

By Lisa Greenwald

When Prianka accidentally sends a hurtful text message to Victoria, the new girl, Gabby, Cecily, and Prianka's friendship is put to a test. I would recommend this for ages 11+ I think this book was pretty good but the pace could have been sped up a bit. I also found some things boring but the rest was really good. Since the book was in text, it was really fun to read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend this to you if you can easily read texts but if you can't then i would definitely NOT recommend this.

Hidden Figures Young Readers' Edition

Hidden Figures Young Readers' Edition

By Margot Lee Shetterly

My mom chose this book for me when we went to the library. When I first saw the book I knew that there was a movie based on it, but I thought it had to do with ghosts, because of the title and the cover. Also, I did not read the description on the back: i just decided to start reading. Its based on four African-American women Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson, Dorothy Vaughan and Christine Darden who worked together to do mathematics calculations during WWII to improve airplanes and missiles and then later become mathematician and engineers of NASA.

National Geographic Kids Almanac 2024 (US edition)

National Geographic Kids Almanac 2024 (US edition)

Science, History, Geography, and even cute animals and interesting types of insects as National Geographic covers most of the subjects. For science topics, they talks about how things like technologies work, plus the science and history in mix about an insects. Animals like wildcats, dogs, small cats, horses, and even elephants and giraffes who have interesting stories about them. History, as in my absolute favorite subject, talks about the past and how things have evolved since the time goes by. I would recommend this type of book for anyone who is interested in things that's happening in the world, and also have some laughs over the funny comics and stories that they give us. - Happy Reading!
