I don't think the book was that good because as I read through the book, there were barely any problems to make the book more interesting. If you guys don't agree with me, i'm totally fine, it's just my opinion.

The Boy Who Saved Baseball
By John H. Ritter
The Boy who saved baseball was written by John H. Ritter and was first published in 2003. This book is about a town who can never agree on anything, and they want to tear down a baseball field. There are boys who love baseball and want to keep the field. The town decides to have a baseball game to decide who should get to keep the field. My opinion on this book is definitely that it is a good book and in the top 20 I have ever read. It is a fantastic book with a great storyline and I would definitely read another book just like it.This genre is realistic fiction because there really could be a town that can’t agree on anything and there could have been a baseball field they wanted to tear down and some boys won’t let them. It all could have really happened but it didn’t so therefore it is realistic fiction. An audience that would enjoy this book would be somebody that loves sports or baseball especially. They would like this book because the main subject matter is about baseball and if you like sports baseball is one of the originals! An internal conflict in this book was when Tom was torn as to what he should do because his town/Doc want to sell the baseball field. He internally has to think what to do, which makes this an internal conflict. An External conflict in this book was when the town played a game to decide what they were going to do with the field. This was an external conflict because they played hands on a game for the field.
Ninja!
By Arree Chung
I liked this book. The pictures are cool. I like it because I took karate, and I like it because it is funny. This book is a good one to read with a little sister or brother, or with Mom and Dad.
My FANGtastically Evil Vampire Pet
By Mo O'Hara
I thought that the My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish series was really good, this series is even better! It has a few puns in it, like when Sami said that the polar bears hat are to small (she meant ice CAPS). It is about Tom's older brother Mark, who is an evil scientist. This book is about Mark going to Camp Mwhaaa-haa-ha-a-watha with his friend Sanj and his kitten, Fang, but it does not go as planned. It has nice (I mean evil) pictures throughout the book. I recommend this book.
Pinch Hit
By Tim Green
This book is really great if you like baseball and acting. This book is about two kids named Trevor and Sam and they look the same but they are not related. Sam is just a normal kid who's a great baseball player and Trevor is a super famous movie star. Then they met and decided to switch lives for a little. Read this book to find out what happens next...
Swagger
By Carl Deuker
The book I read is called"Swagger" by Carl Deuker and it is really good! The settings in this book are at the basketball court, at Jonas's house and at school. Jonas was the main character in the story and he loves to play basketball. His position is point guard, he gets requested to go to college because of his basketball skills. He doesn't know that his coach is weird and makes one of his students do some weird things. The turning point in the book is when he knows that his dad is getting better from a work injury, because he really cares for his dad. The antagonist in the book is Hartwell because he is the bad guy in the book who does bad things to Jonas's best friend Levi. The protagonist is Jonas because he is the main character of the book and he has to deal with a lot of things in his life like his dad getting hurt and his friend Levi that he has to deal with. I recommend this book to 7th grade and up because it has some harder words to read. I hope you liked this review and read this book.
