Kids Books - Mysteries

I really loved this mystery! I I love how the readers get a chance to figure out the mystery for themselves before the answer is revealed. I recommend this to anybody who loves any sort of mysteries and suspense!

An amazing book! I literally could not stop reading it it was so good! I especially loved how the viewpoints changed and you got to see what each character was really thinking, and I just really overall enjoyed the writing style in general. Just everything about the book made it really captivating to read. One of the most unique stories I’ve ever come across. Would 100% recommend this book!

Nell Warnes family has all died.. or at least, that's what she thought, someone has found her Aunt Kitty, her last bit of family. While Aunt Kitty is planning to leave Nell at a orphan home, Nell learns that Kitty is a detective! This book was really good, and I'm sure that once you start reading it you wont wanna stop

I am a huge fan of the Lunch Lady graphic novels by author Jarrett J. Krosoczka, who wrote this book, Platypus Police Squad: The Ostrich Conspiracy. This book is part story and part drawings, so kids get a nice blend of both and that sometimes helps kids read more. I know I still really like having pictures in my books. First of all, this book is like part mystery and part comedy. Detectives Zengo and O’Malley have a new case: to solve the mystery of what is going on at the scene of a film set and figure out why someone would want to do this. What does movie star Chase Mercy have to do with it, and what is the Mayor hiding? Can the Platypus Police Squad get to the bottom of this? “C’mon kid. We could use a good hot dog after all this.” There are some serous topics talked about in this book about lying, not being honest, and how important it is to take care of the environment because it can seriously affect our soil and water that we drink. I thought it was funny they use boomerangs as their police weapons. This helps keep the violence out of kids’ books. I liked this book and I think it is a book series both boys and girls will really like and read over and over!

I really liked this book! It was very devious - just as it led you to believe one thing - it twisted it and said something else. The two main characters were very likeable and funny, and the way how their backyard antics led to something much bigger than themselves really made me laugh and sit on the edge of my seat for more. The code mentioned in the book was very helpful to move the book forward and the main thing that I learned is that nothing is how it seems. Happy reading! ~ Lotte Parker

This book is about how Cammie and Bex spend the summer with Bex's parents in London, but when Mr. Solomon shows up unexpectedly and is currently being framed for being involved with the "Circle" which is a bad group of spy agents who are all over the world and for killing Cammie's dad. Because of being framed and jumping off a bridge, Mr. Solomon is replaced with Townsend who is a lousy Coveops teacher. With her friends, Zach, her mom, Aunt Abby, and Bex's parents they sneak into Blackthorne and find clues that Mr. Solomon left them. Now the question really is, is Mr. Solomon really innocent and did he kill Cammie's dad?

i read alot of my moms old nancy drew books she was secretly hoping for girls and that didnt happen. she told me to try them so i did and this reminded me alot of those. very girly and like it was just rewritten with new clothes and cars

I really loved this book.I loved Nancy Drew so this was my next big hit.Hannah's Mom ends up getting laid off from her job.Hannah and her mum moves and a valuable piece of art gets stolen so Hannah starts investigating!

Because of the Circle, Cammie runs away. So when Cammie wakes up one day in a cabin with these nice nuns, she finds herself having no memory of what she did this summer, plus she's been tortured. She goes back to the Academy and sorta recovers there but everyone starts looking for clues about the death and disapearence of her dad and about the Circle who are determined to find Cammie. They head to Rome to look for clues and find more information than they had expected.
