Funny Girl: Funniest. Stories. Ever.

By Betsy Bird

This book is a great one for road trips. I've read a few of the stories so far and laughed out loud. Shannon Hale's fictional babysitting story about a terrible twosome was both funny and spooky! I recommend this book to anyone who loves childhoods of great authors.

Papercutz Slices #4: The Hunger Pains

Papercutz Slices #4: The Hunger Pains

By Stefan Petrucha

Just before the big-budget debut film of the Hunger Games releases, Papercutz parodies the first book starring Ratkiss Everspleen and her younger sister Dim. In this rendition of Suzanne Collins' bestselling novel, the Hunger Games are optional, Peeta turns in Peek a Choo, and the world of Panem is flipped upside down. This hilarious parody will have you laughing to the very last page!

Amelia Jane Again

Amelia Jane Again

By Enid Blyton

This book is so funny. I found it when Mom handed it to me to read . I took it and went to my reading chair and started to read it. Amelia Jane is a toy doll. She keeps getting in to trouble by doing different things such as teasing the other toys and blowing up a balloon pig and scaring the other toys!! She never seems to be able to keep herself out of trouble. Sometimes, she would get into trouble and then make up for it. Like once she threw picture bricks through the window because the golliwog was being rude to her. Then it started to rain and she went out to get them. I think you will love this book because it has so many funny tales and she gets into trouble in all of them. If you like toy story, you will love this book! Trust me, you won't be able to stop giggling!

Happily Ever After: Companion to the Selection Series (The Selection Novella)

Happily Ever After: Companion to the Selection Series (The Selection Novella)

By Kiera Cass

In this exceptional book by Kiera Cass, you get to peek into the world of four characters, in the land where love conquers all. The first story is of Amberly, a young girl entering the Selection before America's. It tells the story of the beloved Queen Amberly as she goes through her own Selection with King Clarkson.Young and in love with the king follow Amberly as she learns more about both Clarkson and the crown. This book is an excellent book, and anyone who has read the Selection or is just looking for a good book will love it. The next story is of Maxon, the prince. Read his side of the story as he first meets America. The 3rd story is of Aspen, and how he fights for America before finally falls in love again. The last and perhaps most beautiful story is of The favorite, Marlee, and how she Carter fight for their love.

Thea Stilton and the Ice Treasure: A Geronimo Stilton Adventure

Thea Stilton and the Ice Treasure: A Geronimo Stilton Adventure

By Thea Stilton

TJL

Well-written and nicely illustrated, as usual. But I really miss the humor in the original Geronimo books. The sisters are a bit monotonous, beyond their clothing, hairstyle and skills. Also the amount of education info is kind of tiring. A sufficiently good story will intrigue readers to seek them out on their own.
