Two twins, Jay and Ray, are going to a new school. But Ray is sick on the first day of school, so Jay goes to school alone for the first day, but when they call out attendance, Ray's name isn't called! But instead of correcting the mistake for the teacher, Jay instead decides to change their way of life. Now Jay and Ray take turns going to school, but things start to get back when they both pretend to be each other...

Clayton is a troublemaker. One day Clayton draws a picture of a donkey to represent his principle, and he gets sent to the principal's office instead of being rewarded, but he doesn't mind. He likes being bad like his brother. He even has a thick folder showing his bad deeds in the office. But when his brother returns from jail, he forces Clayton to change his ways. Can he do it? I loved this book!

What's the last holiday concert, you ask. The Last Holiday Concert is a winter story that really shows and shine it's light. This story is about a boy named Evan Hart, who is a popular boy. Oh boy, only if you knew that at his home, he is just a dork. A complete dork-scientist. In school, all students praise him like he's their god. But when Evan takes charge of the school concert, he messes up a whole ton. His choir teacher (Mr. Meinart) purposely chose the students to start a concert because none of his students actually listened to him. When Evan messes up and says something only a baby would say, nobody considers him as a popular student. Mr. Meinart got smug and asked if Evan needed help. Evan gave up, knowing already what Mr. Meinart's plan was already. But instead, Mr. Meinart understood Evan, and was at risk of losing his job. Two issues going around. A whole concert to save. Who will be saving all three? Read this book, and you will definitely enjoy it! This book did great, except I didn't really enjoy the end because it seemed like there would be a sequel. Enjoy!

This book is about a kid why is the janitors son named jack who got in trouble with a gum situation about gum at school. the ending of the book was fine, but i wish a character new that jack is the janitors son. it is for boys and girls. if your a good reader start reading at 7 and up. this book has 140 pages. its grade first and second grade or in the middle at summer. something like that could happen but not usually. if i were the author i would change the ending the way i told you earlier. i recommend this book and also give it 5 big stars. enjoy reading the book!

Okay. This book was just okay. Alton loves maps, and his room is covered in them. And he never wants to let them go, so when he discovers his mapss were stolen out of his locker, he goes on a journey to find them, vowing to not hive up. Can he find the thief and get his maps back!?

The Blossoming Universe Of Violet Diamond by Brenda Woods is a exciting & thrilling but kind of sad or emotional book, tells about a girl named Violet who lost her father in a car accident. She is having bad dreams and can never sleep at night. She just wishes he could be there with her & her mom. This story tells about how Violet doesn't know about her grandmother (which is her dads mother). She wants to learn more about her so she asks her mom if she can visit her grandmother at her art exhibit and she said that was fine. She was so excited! Her grandmother's exhibit was in Seattle, so her mom took her there. Her mom lets her go to Violets grandmother's house in Las Vegas. She goes there with her and she gets to stat there for two weeks! When her grandmother is cooking her famous mashed potatoes, Violet is in her room and she hears a loud "thud"! I would totally recommend this book because it is a really good book! You should also read this book because it is amazingly funny and could be emotional for some people, but so hilarious! Find out more by reading the book!

I read this book because the author is one of my favorite writers. I was totally drawn into the plot because her descriptions were so realistic. I recommend this to readers who like historical fiction. I would rate it 5 stars.
