Kids Books - Historical

It was a great book, and I would totally recommend it. I like mysteries, and I really hope Tom Angleberger will write a sequel or something.

Usually books focus on Helen Keller. But what do we know about her extraordinary teacher, Annie Sullivan? This book is amazing, so good that I own a copy myself! I like to have it at my bed so before I sleep I can read the triumphs of Annie Sullivan. Miss Spitfire is Annie's nickname. She is fierce and determined-and without her fierce determination she would not have had the breakthrough with Helen Keller. Helen is a beast. She is treated cautiously and never deprived of anything. Cake is always close at hand to calm the wild child. Annie Sullivan arrives-a new teacher, half blind, with the determination that has ensured her education and personality. Helen needs more than a teacher. She needs someone to love her in a way that her parent's couldn't possibly. She needs a miracle worker.

this book is amazing for middle school aged kids it is also great if you like historical fiction books. If you like this you should try the other books in the series

Honestly, this book had me a little bit confused at a few points. Roger and Sally are twins who must help their mother hide gold that will pay the American soldiers. The British try to steal the gold. The twins and their mother must do whatever it takes to keep the treasure out of the hands of the British. This is an okay book, if a little confusing and boring. It's almost too fast-paced to be understandable.

I just finished this book, and I just LOVED it! If you like Little House on the Prarie, this book is for you. The book is like Little House on the Prarie, but it takes place in the city. The girl in the story "Lucinda" is a very nice and michevious girl. She makes friends with everyone she meets. I reccomend this book.
