A mysterious tale with twists and turns in the plot, Lemony becomes an apprentice in a secret organization to S. Theodora Markson. They work to steal a statue of the mythical Bombinating Beast in Stain’d-By-The-Sea; a small town with few businesses known for its ink that was next to the sea that was sucked up-for a customer that claims it is theirs. With a master puppeteer, Hangfire, holding captives and controlling everyone, you never know who you can trust-or why he wants that statue so badly. What I thought about it: Who could that be at this hour was definitely an interesting read. It was my first time reading a Lemony Snicket book, but it seemed like a good book (and had a great cover and great art inside) so I checked it out at the library. Lemony Snicket writes very well, and the story flows fluidly with quite a bit of suspense. I thought it was pretty cool that he decided to write the story with him as the main character, as not a lot of authors do that. I thought the book would be full of questions and answers with no storyline, but I was downright wrong. It had a few questions in the plot though. So if you’re wondering “Where is that screaming coming from?” “Is it too late?” and “What happened to his parents?”, then read this book!

Another fabulous book! Enola Holmes is on her own now. Helping the poor, disguises, and now...hiding from her brother? Sherlock is looking for her-but Enola's clever. When investigating Lady Cecily's room, she notices some very particular things. Drawings, ciphers, and odd placement. Can Enola not get caught by her brother and find Lady Cecily? Happy reading!

This book was really good. It is about kids who ran away from their homes and traveled to an unknown place just to bury a dool who has been haunting them forever. The doll is actually full of the ashes of a little girl who killed herself and her father. Creepy but awsome.

But after saving the world from megalomaniac pixies and power-crazed demons, has Artemis Fowl met his match- himself? Along the way, Artemis may also run into some old friends- and some top archenemies.

It's been 5 years since livy and her family have been to her grandmother's home in Australia, and they get there livy isn't remembering much, but she thinks she's forgetting something important... And where did she happen to forget about the short green creature named Bob and that she promised to help find where he came from. Don't he now finally time to solve this epic mystery, and after I'm exciting adventure full of ups & downs will they find out where Bob is from?? Nice book! Artemis fowl has been mindwiped so he didn't remember anything about fairies. He wants to steal an amazing 'The fairy thief' painting which can raise his criminal standard! On the other hand, Opal Koboi, the greatest villain is back with her evil and destructive plans! She murdered Julius Root and everyone thinks Holly is responsible for this! Opal wants to become a human and she mesmerized a human who now thinks Opal is her daughter. She wants to take the revenge from Artemis, Holly and Julius for failing her goblin revolution plan. She wants to became the queen of human and fairy world! Will they be able to stop her evil plans? Will Artemis remember his fairy friends and help them beat Opal? Read to find out! Have fun reading!

Theodore Boone: The Fugitive is the 5th (and possibly the last) book in the amazing Theodore Boone series by John Grisham. It stars a boy named Theodore Boone, who is 13. Both his parents are lawyers, and this makes Theodore want to be one too. (Spoiler Alert if you haven’t read the first book) This book is mostly about Theodore tracking down the major antagonist of the first book (and debatably the whole series) and then proving him wrong in a court of law. I feel like this book is written well and is a page-turner, although not as much as the other books. I say this because this book does have its dull moments. In particular the end of this, which I’m not going to spoil, isn’t really that interesting, nor is it that climatic. In my opinion, this is something that the other books were good at, and I hope the next book (if there is another one) will improve in this aspect. Other than that, I feel that Theodore Boone: The Fugitive is a pretty good book, full of excitement and interesting facts on lawyers. This book gets a 4 out of 5 stars from me.
