    April 25 2013 This book is about a girl named Miri who lives on a mountain called Mount Eskell. The village is a nice one. But one day a man comes with orders from the king that says in a short time their daughters from 13-18 to come train so that the prince can choose a wife. As Miri goes she discovers many things, some pleasant others not. As time passes, the girls run away, make a deal with a tutor, fight through danger and lots more. My favorite part was when Miri learned quarry speech. So read this book and have fun while you do it.

      I love this book! It is about a girl named Miri, she lives on the mountain with the rest of the mountain folk. Then the people they trade with announce that there was going to be an academy where girls could possibly become a princess. The girls must train to become a princess, but only after the prince picked the girl to be his wife. The girls had to train to become a princess. Their teacher, Olana was very strict and you would never want to be on her bad-side, she throughs a few of the girls in to the "closet".

        Very good book, if you think it's one of those Disney fairy tales, it's not! Princess Academy is powerful, full of action, adventure, family, danger, and finding who you are in the midst of it all. I truly love this book, I believe that it is great for all those girls who need a bit of encouragement.

          i loved this book! its a terrific read for any time. i cant wait to read the 2nd 1!

              Princess Academy is about a girl named Miri who lives with her father and her sister Marda. One day people from the castle came to in form every body in the village that girls over 1by 4 - 18 will be joining the Princess Academy program on top of the mountain .Miri and all the other girls from the village entered the Princess Academy. There they will be taught how to act like a princess and how to behave like one too, by a very mean teacher named Olana. Then the prince will pick the best girl to be his wife and to crowned as Queen. Miri doesn't know if she believes the prince will actually pick a girl from a poor little village to become his wife. Will Miri take the chance of becoming a princess? If you'll read this amazing book you will find out.

                  This is a great book!! I loved it from the start and to the end! Irecommend this book to anybody who likes to read or wants to read a great amazing book!!!

                    i really like this book, too! it is about this girl named miri who goes with her "friends" to a royal academy. they train to become the wife of a prince. some parts are "tough". you should really read this book!

                      Also by the same author as goose girl and Enna burning, this book is equally as good, and is about a little girl who wants to be something big. Miri is one of the characters that you will love at first look. Read this book to unlock the wonders of Miri and her flowers.
