Coming down from the mountain to a new life in the city is a thrill to Miri. She and her princess academy friends have been brought to Asland to help the future princess Britta prepare for her wedding. There, Miri also has a chance to attend school-at the Queen's Castle. But as Miri befriends students who seem sophisticated and exciting she also learns that they have some frightening plans. Torn between loyalty to the princess and her new friends' ideas, between an old love and a new crush, and between her small mountain home and the bustling city, Miri looks to find her own way in this new place.
Picking up where Princess Academy left off, and celebrating the joys of friendship, romance and the fate of fairy tale kingdoms, this new book delivers the completely delightful new story that fans have been waiting for.

Miri Larendaughter, an Mount Eskel girl, has graduted from Princess Academy, now starting Queen Castle as new scholar. A boy which Miri has crush on is Pedar Doterson, but Miri was too shy to confess her feelings for Pedar until the ending of the book. Another boy that Miri has met, Timon Skarpson, I think, also really like her... Miri`s friend, Britta, to-be princess, which will marry an prince, Prince Steffan. In first book, Britta has revealed that she and Steffan has actually knew each other when they was young, amazing, huh? Britta and Steffan has always wanted to marry each other! Well, I don`t want to spoil this whole story for you, haha but this book is so GOOD that I became so lost in this! I def recommend this book!

This was even more beautifully written that the first. It keeps you clinging to every word, and you still have Miri, yet there is a slight difference in her that alerts you she is older. The romance is wonderfully illustrated and it seems almost real. Everything is described with such childlike wonder.

I really like this book! It is super good although I think that the first book was better.
