When a teacher leaves a blank book in the Writer’s Corner for her students to find, with the instructions “Please Write in this Book,” she hopes it will encourage her students to talk to one another in its pages. They do, and the result is an epic classroom battle.

This book was interesting, I have to say, but it really lacked the emotions and plot that I desire in a good book! This book was a waste of my time.

The teacher put a book in the Writer's Corner. So what? Well, I'll rephrase the sentence. The teacher hid the book in The Writer's corner. And she leaves some instructions inside. The best way to rephrase it is: If you find this book, you can write anything you like. You can draw pictures, tell jokes, and pretty much anything. So the first person to find the book is Lizzy. She hopes that only girls will find it. Then more people start finding it. Such as: Milton; the class nerd who likes everyone to stick to the facts, Luke; the class clown, Jimmy; a boy who doesn't like to write, Kira; Lizzy's friend, and more. Soon enough, Lizzy gets hypercritical and makes rules that she herself won't follow. And Luke makes mean jokes even when people tell him to stop. And what about the other kids? Jimmy is deffinetly on Luke's side. Kira is no doubt on Lizzy's side, and Milton just wants everyone to stick with the facts. But the journal might have a way to bring the entire class together.
