They live in spooky caves, in forests, even in the dark reaches of ordinary attics and bridges. They flock by the hundreds, and they sleep while hanging upside down! In this beautifully photographed Level 2 Reader, kids learn about one of the most interesting creatures around—and discover the bat’s unique place in the wild and in the world. The high-interest topic, expertly written text, and bonus learning activity lay the groundwork for a successful and rewarding reading experience.

Bats are the best. Now they are going extinct all because of us.I would love to help the bats even though I am only 10years old.And in order to save bags you have to learn all about them. That is why I want to read this book.Books by national geographic give me the telling to want to save these animals around the world even more than I already do.I would be heart broken to see our beloved animal die of extiction.Bats are very amazing creatures. And a whole book about them will make even happer about their existants.I fell that bats being around helps the world. And they do.They pollinate our food and are very friendly to us.This is why I really want to read this book.
