When I first started this book, I was SO upset at the very thought of even finishing THE last book of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BOOK SERIES EVER. The only book series that close to matching my love for this series is The Sisters Grimm series by Michael Buckley. But when I finished Of Enemies and Endings, I surprised myself. I LOVED (and still love) THE ENDING AND THIS BOOK AND EVERY BOOK IN THIS SERIES TO BITS. The end just satisfied every part of me that was certain I was going to break into tears of sadness. (But if I had cried at the end of this tale, it would have been out of sheer joy.) I know this review is going to sound dramatic and crazy but these books have taken a huge piece of my heart, and every day I think of Rory and Chase and Lena. Every book in this series was superb and heart-breaking and joyful and perfect, but of the four books in this series, this was my favorite. Every book builds on the last, with each book getting better and developing the characters so much more, and this was the cherry that topped all the other books in this series. I felt every bit of pain that Rory felt, with every stab of grief that she felt tearing my heart a little more. I felt giddy with joy when she experienced happiness. Rory had the raised the bar to whole new levels in characters. Chase and Lena too. So if you have don't do it NOW because you will never put these books down once you start. WHEW THAT REVIEW WAS LONG AND I DO NOT BLAME YOU IF YOU DON'T READ THE WHOLE THING.

Dear Editor, I requested a book at least two weeks ago and I still haven't gotten it. Is that normal?

This book was awesome. It was the perfect mash-up of fairy-tales and modern day. Similar to: The Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley, The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer, and Half Upon a Time by John Riley. The perfect mix of comedy and action, this book is a must read.

I can't say that my reason for wanting this book will be any different or better than others, but the reason I would like to have this book is to read it. National Geographic books are some of my favorites, mostly because of all the facts that I can fill my brain with. Thank you anyways!

I just read this book for the second time and it was even sweeter than the first time (mostly because I actually understood everything for the first time in forever). I don't usually read books twice but this book was special because it was one of my absolute top favorite book series PLUS this summer I'm planning on re-reading my favorite book series. AHEM and I also got the fourth book of this series BUT I read one page and I had forgotten who and what all the characters were so I'm just re-starting from the beginning. I don't regret my decision one bit, because the second I opened this book, Rory's life became as real as my own. She's such a relatable character who is very unlike some of the perfect characters in stories these days. You can actually connect with her and feel her embarrassment, anger, happiness, and you just have to laugh out loud when she snaps a witty comment back at Chase. I WOULD make a critique about how she believed in magic so seemingly quickly, but, hey, I guess being chased by a fire-breathing dragon, escaping giants with bug-spray, and almost dying by falling from a magic beanstalk will do that to ya. I will never understand why this isn't a New York Times bestseller, and I recommend this to ANYONE who loves adventure, fantasy, and all those other genres and such. Better end this review now before it turns into one of those monster reviews so long that nobody actually reads anything but the first sentence. Anyways, this book was amazing in every way and you should probably read it if you want a cool story in your life.
