Do not recommend to people who don't like romance. Bitter blue is a very strong but weak girl. She also is not a very good queen, but at least the plot is good.

A must read if you like Graceling or Fire, but you must read both of these books before reading Bitterblue. This is a great YA reader. Should definitely be read by high school and up. I would not recommend for junior high.

Love this series! Very well-written! The characters are lovable, and bring such charisma to the story. Another book that you won't want to put down!

This is a really good book, but part of it is not good if you are not yet 12. There are some things that you shouldn't know about yet until then. Otherwise, this is a wonderful book, and is very interesting and delightful to read. Bitterblue, Po's cousin seen in 'Graceling', has grown up and is ruling Monsea. She has to fight through the past and defeast 'forward thinking' to see the truth. Read it, it's Good
